In November, 5,250 real estate purchase and sale deeds were registered in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, an 8.8% decrease compared to the same month of the previous year. The total reached 5,250 acts, compared to the 5,755 recorded in November 2024, according to information from the College of Notaries of the City of Buenos Aires, based on acts formalized by professionals. The total amount of the transactions amounted to $885.985 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 51.5%, according to the press release processed by Agencia Noticias Argentinas. Compared to October 2025, activity showed a decline of 25.2%, when 7,018 operations had been carried out.
Regarding mortgage operations, 737 acts were formalized in November, implying a decrease of 22.4% compared to the same period last year. The average amount of the deeds was $168,759,187, equivalent to US$115,718 according to the average official exchange rate, with a 16.3% growth in US dollars over a year. The president of the entity, Magdalena Tato, projected that the year 2025 will close with approximately 70,000 operations, placing it among the six best records since 1998. However, she noted 'a deceleration in mortgage loans compared to October, a month that she described as atypical due to the congestion of procedures'.
